Summary

PracticeMaster Version 15 updated the way that Data File Integrity Checks search the E-mail attachment files.  This error indicates that the data size stored in the file does not match the amount of data actually found in the record.

Additional Information

If a user attempts to open or save an E-mail attachment that is corrupt, the following error message will be displayed:

Error opening file: <filename>
Data for <filename> appears corrupt

Click OK to close the error window.

Resolution

To resolve this error, the user will need to open the record and manually fix the attachment. This can be as simple as deleting the attachment. If the user wants to save the part of the file that is still intact, they will have to save it to disk, and re-attach it to the journal record.
