DFIC Error 96 - Empty Field

The information in this article applies to:

• Tabs3 Billing Software Version 16, 15, 14 & 12

SUMMARY

This error is only reported if integrating with QuickBooks using the QBXML format. It indicates that a data field in Tabs3 that QuickBooks requires is empty.

RESOLUTION

This error can be resolved by editing the field listed on the Data File Integrity Check Error Report.

• If this error is in the Client file, it indicates that the Name (Last/First) field is blank. Edit the Name (Last/First) field on the Address tab of the Client data entry program for the Client ID listed on the report.
• If this error is in the Timekeeper file, it indicates that either the Timekeeper Name or the Timekeeper Initials field is blank. Using the information from the report, edit the appropriate timekeeper using the Timekeeper data entry program.
• If the error is in the Tcode file, it indicates that the Tcode Alpha Code field is blank. Using the information on the report, edit the appropriate transaction code to correct the empty field.
• If the error is in the Category file, it indicates that the Category Description field is blank. Using the information on the report, edit the appropriate category to correct the empty field.
