DFIC Error 56 - Invalid Sequence Number

This error indicates that the internal sequence number is invalid.

RESOLUTION

PracticeMaster, Tabs3, TAS, APS and GLS

Depending on where the error occurs, it may be possible to correct the error by reindexing the specified file with the Compact Selected Files check box selected. If this process successfully completes, run the Data File Integrity Check again to determine if the error still exists. If the error still exists, you must restore your data files from a known good backup.

Tabs3 Remote

If the errors are in the validation files, run the Data File Integrity Check utility program in Tabs3. If there are no errors in the Tabs3 Data File Integrity Check, recreate the Tabs3 validation files and transfer the new validation files to the remote terminal. Run the Data File Integrity Check program in Tabs3 Remote again.

If the errors are in the remote data files, it may be possible to correct this error by reindexing the specified file with the Compact Selected Files check box selected. If this process successfully completes, run the Data File Integrity Check again to determine if the error still exists. If the errors still exists, you must restore from a backup.
