TAS allows you to set up trust accounts with the same Trust ID but different bank account numbers. An error code of "6" indicates that the Federal ID numbers for trust accounts with the same Trust ID and different bank accounts do not match. For example, if the Federal ID numbers shown on Trust ID 700.01 - Bank Account #1 and Trust ID 700.01 - Bank Account #2 do not match, an error code of "6" will be generated.
To correct the error, change the Federal ID number for one of the trust accounts so that the numbers match.
